Freedom Challenge assists inmates in addressing their life issues by developing life skills based upon Biblical principles. We provide an intense, eight-month program that meets five days a week inside the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Freedom Challenge is an affiliate of Teen Challenge International.


The Brothers in Blue Reentry program is a faith-based, in-prison program committed to inmates who desire inner change and growth, and which helps equip them to be givers instead of takers.


Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically-run, self-supporting, and drug-free home.


Celebrate Recovery is a program that provides a Christ-based approach to recovery, and aims to deal with the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of its members. It is a step-based program grounded in the Sermon on the Mount, and takes on the challenges of drug and alcohol addiction, sex addiction, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and those who have been victims of sexual abuse.

Mentoring 4 Success is a community-based, statewide initiative that delivers mentoring services to help offenders safely and successfully return to communities. The program offers help inmates find employment, housing, and get connected with services and treatment.


The SalvationArmy has been serving theWichita area for over 125 years, fulfilling theirmission

to feed the hungry, clothe the poor, and bring hope to the dispirited. This organization provides

essential services to those coming out of prison.


A ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, The Lord’s Diner is an organizationwhose goal is to combat hunger in the community by serving a nutritiousmeal with dignity and respect to anyone who is hungry.


The Union RescueMission is an organization that provides a temporary shelter for homeless individuals inWichita, as well as meals. Their mission is to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotionalneeds of the homeless and poor in the community.
